About Myself

I grew up in the Mennonite culture, which is very conservative. There are good things that come from this background, but also some ideas that don’t align with Scripture.

From a young age, I was curious about what the Bible actually says on different topics. This led me to search the Bible for answers instead of relying solely on what I was being taught. Yes, some things matched Scripture—but I was surprised by how much did not.

I believe there should be a healthy balance between looking at what the Bible says and applying sound logic. I enjoy thinking through and discussing the tough questions when it comes to God, religion, and the Bible. I believe the Bible should be our authority for truth.

Through what I call the Bible-based Logic method, I’ve discovered important truths that have transformed how I study Scripture. Now my mission is to share this method with others so they can read and study the Bible with confidence.
